CoVadem continuously provides up-to-date water depths information by combining a 'sailing network' with state of the art Big Data technology. We harvest depth information readings from the collaborating vessels and combine these on our Cloud hosted servers. There, the data are being filtered, processed, enriched, managed and finally distributed to a growing range of services for the benefit of our members. Always available. CoVadem loading depth
In the new Smart Dashboard, you will soon be shown a loading depth recommendation for a specific voyage. To calculate this loading depth, CoVadem takes the current bottom position. This includes the Squat & Trim. To arrive at a correct and safe loading depth, a safety margin is deducted. You can set this yourself based on your own knowledge and skills. Because CoVadem does not want to sit in your wheelchair. But this way, you will know exactly how much load you can carry responsibly.
