MAN Engines is expanding its existing engine portfolio for workboats with the new MAN D3872LE4xx. This newly developed V12 engine for commercial applications draws its power from a displacement of 30 litres. MAN engines have always stood for a low power-to-weight ratio. With the MAN D3872LE4xx, we offer an even better solution for demanding applications with more power and a larger displacement. The MAN D3872 is based on a completely new engine that benefits from the findings of the established MAN D2862 V12 engine series. MAN engines stand for robustness. Together with the compact exhaust gas aftertreatment system, the modified engine control unit meets current legal requirements such as IMO Tier III and Stage V. All current MAN Marine engines are also approved for HVO.
