The Pod Drive 20 kW is designed for maximum durability in saltwater. The motor is constructed from marine-grade aluminium alloy for excellent impact resistance and corrosion resistance. Thanks to a self-cooling design that dissipates heat through immersion, cooling channels and regular replacements are eliminated, meaning you can count on a maintenance-free product and the best performance in the toughest conditions. The battery is also fireproof thanks to a special honeycomb structure and a safety distance between the cells. Thanks to various protection mechanisms in the BMS, the battery has a very long service life. The housing made of extruded, anodized aluminum is very stable and ensures good heat conduction and perfect protection. Multiple batteries can be mounted on top of each other.
