Schoonschip Metalrope
Our Metalrope is a 12-strand braided rope made from HMPE fibers. It is the best alternative to heavy steel wire cables—combining the strength of steel cable with the handling ease of rope. Its breaking load is higher than that of steel wire, while its comparable weight is 85% lower. These superior properties are especially valued when towing and mooring vessels. HMPE rope also floats.
