About us

Shipyard Rotterdam is an independent yard in the port of Rotterdam. Shipyard Rotterdam is home of the KRVE, the boatmen association Eendracht, and was originally established to maintain and update its fleet. We have gained the necessary experience in the KRVE’s 120 years’ existence.

We manufacture in both steel and aluminium. Besides, we are one of the few Dutch yards mastering round-bilge building. We also shape all sheet metal ourselves.

We build in steel, aluminium and stainless steel.

Whether you need advanced workboats or luxury yachts, Shipyard Rotterdam is the right shipyard for you. We can build your vessel for any classification.

We can do refits, hull repairs and maintenance at our yard. If necessary, we will work 24/7 and quality and service are paramount.

We have an exclusive dealership with John Deere and we have an exclusive partnership with Humphree.

Elektrische winchwagen

n close cooperation with the KRVE, this electric winch is the result of this. The winch car is a welcome innovation in itself and it is now electric. The base of the winch wagon wagon a reliable Mercedes sprinter with eco-smart diesel. This car is powerful and economical at the same time. The car is further standard and we build custom throughout winch installation. The electric motor runs on lithium batteries, which can be easily charged with the supplied cables become. The electric winch can operate for four consecutive hours, so you don't have to get up until the end of the shift to load. Interim charging is also possible. The batteries are ready to work again in just 25 minutes. By means of a hybrid system, the batteries are also charged while driving the car. The batteries can also be charged by means of a solar panel.

Tender Shipyard Rotterdam

Tender Shipyard Rotterdam: Because we are located in the middle of the port of Rotterdam and work for the service providers of the port, we heard that there is a need for a fast tender that can be deployed in the event of calamities and incidents. We responded to this by developing a fast tender. Shipyard Rotterdam offers these fast tenders, as a high-quality service, to all our port partners. And to guarantee the reliability and continuity of our service providers, we also enable them to use a loan vessel during repairs. The tender can reach a maximum speed of 43 kn, because it is equipped with a John Deere 6090 SFM 85 engine and a Doen waterjet DJ 142. By using this drive, our tender can be on site very quickly, wherever the action may take place. This makes the vessel extremely suitable for piloting ships and safely dropping off people. Furthermore, this tender is equipped with fenders all around the ship and a push bow for smooth and flawless operations. At Shipyard Rotterdam, safety comes first, which is why we have integrated a MOB platform to safely retrieve drowning people from the water. Thanks to the Doen waterjet, there are no dangerous rotating parts under water. We have even thought of fire fighting with a special connection for a fire water pump. The seats on the bow are removable, so that more space can be created. This makes it possible to take extra supplies with you to calamities or incidents. We are excited to announce that our craftsmen have started building the ‘Tender Shipyard Rotterdam’. The hull of the ship is made of aluminum and the superstructure of carbon.
