Hardware Engineer

This is what your day looks like:
We are specialized in electrical installations in passenger ships, tankers, dry cargo ships and yachts. Based on a specification, you design and calculate electrical installation drawings and diagrams for commercial shipping, passenger ships and luxury yachts. You devise solutions for switching and distribution systems and test designs against standards.

A challenging role in which you are involved in completely new and refit projects from a quotation process to the after-sales/warranty period of the project. You communicate with the project manager, largely of technical expertise and ensure the work preparation for the workshop (panel construction).

You are motivated and have these skills:
Minimum MBO 4 work and thinking level in the direction of Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of the various installations, regulations, guidelines and standards
Experience with Office package (Excel) - E-plan P8 (Propanel is a plus)
Analytical skills and quality-oriented
Flexible and solution-oriented attitude
Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing (German is a plus)
At least 3 years of work experience in a managerial position
