GORINCHEM – During Maritime Industry 2025, Tank-Eye from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht was named the winner of the Innovation Award. Visitors to the trade fair cast their votes in large numbers and selected Tank-Eye’s camera system as the most groundbreaking innovation. In the specially designed Innovation Gallery at Next Level, eight progressive companies presented their latest developments to the public. Visitors had the opportunity to view the innovations up close and cast their votes. Tank-Eye was awarded for its revolutionary Tank-Eye Camera, the world’s first and only fully certified camera system that allows inspectors to safely look inside non-gas-free cargo tanks. By using the unique Tank-Eye Vapour Lock Valve, users can take 360° photos without exposure to product vapors. This not only increases safety for employees but also eliminates emissions during inspections – a major step towards more sustainable inland shipping transport. The Innovation Award was ceremoniously presented to Frank Kerstens and Deef Claeys on Wednesday evening by Geert Kluytmans, Head of Event at Maritime Industry.
