Motor barge Contentus fully back in EU STAGE V service
Following the complete re-motorization of the vessel and a successful sea trial, MBS "CONTENTUS" is ready to return to service. We have installed a MAN D2862LE44A 1000 hp at 1800 rpm as the propulsion engine. On the foredeck, we have installed a MAN D2676LE47A 500 hp bow thruster system operating at 1800 rpm. Additionally, we have installed a Yanmar 20 kVa sound-dampened generator set and a 60 kVa JCB generator set. We thank Mr. Stijn Bruinooge for this fine commission and the pleasant cooperation, and wish him and his crew many trouble-free operating hours and safe sailing.
