Strategic partnership between Vidol and nC Protect

nC Protect appoints Vidol Marine as exclusive inland shipping distributor in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

nC Protect, a specialist in innovative corrosion protection, has appointed Vidol Marine as the exclusive distributor for inland shipping in the Dutch, Belgian, and German markets. Thanks to this strategic partnership, nC Protect's innovative anti-corrosion products are now available to maritime customers in the Benelux and Germany.

Stop corrosion. No blasting required.
nC's innovative corrosion passivator products—including the Corrosion Passivator Primer 2-in-1 and Corrosion Passivator Fluid—offer an effective solution to one of the maritime industry's biggest challenges. Unlike traditional methods, these products can be applied directly onto existing rust, eliminating the need for labor-intensive surface preparation such as sandblasting.

“Our technology changes the way we deal with corrosion,” says Rob van Hoorn, founder of nC Protect. “Through chemical bonding, a lasting protective layer is formed against oxygen and water.”
“We are proud of our collaboration with Vidol, whose many years of maritime expertise are helping us bring the nC Corrosion Passivator to market quickly and effectively.”

Strategic growth for Vidol
For Vidol Marine, this partnership represents a strategic expansion of its product portfolio with sustainable corrosion protection solutions. With over 20 years of experience as a specialist in maritime lubricants and as a recognized distributor of Shell Lubricants, Vidol is well-positioned to integrate nC Protect’s innovative products into its services.

“The addition of nC’s corrosion passivators to our product range enables us to offer our customers a more complete solution package,” says Geert-Jan van Ierland, managing director of Vidol. “The products align perfectly with both our customer needs and our commitment to sustainable innovation.”
