The MarFlex Super Stripping Pump creates a partial vacuum within the super stripping line of this Deepwell Pump. The vacuum causes a difference of pressure with the cargo, so it is siphoned up through the stripping line, present at the bottom of the well.
The Super Stripping Pump, typically located on the deck connected to cargo decks, can pump either to another tank or a manifold and can be used up to 26 meters.
The MSSP is able to pump cargoes that range in temperatures from 4.4°C – 100 °C.
Types of Cargo
The Marflex deepwell cargo pump can handle different types of cargo, e.g., oil products (produce oils and industrial oils) and different kinds of chemicals.
Materials used
All our cargo pumps are standard-made in stainless steel A316L. However, due to the different kinds of cargoes that our pumps can handle, we can also supply other materials such as Duplex steel and Super Duplex steel. The MSSP can come equipped with a mechanical seal, which is able to withstand more pressure. The seal is easily replaced meaning that maintenance is simply achieved.
