• Electric and MIG/MAG welding of various shipbuilding-related structures for which you as a welder are responsible. This could mean that you work in our dry dock or are busy completing a new tanker, passenger ship or repair work.

Job description:
After internal training, be able to independently provide service to De Gerlien van Tiem bow thrusters and spud poles, which consists of:
– transferring bow thruster installations on board ships;
– checking and repairing the hydraulic control system;
– commissioning new bow thruster and spud pole installations and the necessary
provide operating and maintenance instructions;
– when there are no service activities, you will work in the new construction department.
Job requirements:
• in possession of a valid driving license B,E;
• LTS / MTS metal and/or mechanical engineering and/or automotive technology;
• affinity for drive technology;
• technical insight and feeling for disassembly and assembly techniques;
• being able to work flexibly, independently and solution-oriented;
• being able to deal well with customers;
• knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical engineering is an advantage.
