Ship & yacht insulation.
Anyone who excels in ship insulation proves to master the insulation profession in all facets. FCG has been a leader in ship insulation for many years. From thermal, sound and fire insulation of accommodations to insulating and tracing deck pipes and insulating exhausts; we engineer and realize. You will find evidence of our craftsmanship everywhere. Both nationally and internationally. Both on inland shipping and on yachts and ships on seagoing shipping.
The ship insulation we offer consists of:
Thermal insulation of accommodations on board different types of ships.
Fire-resistant insulation with a finish of plate or heat-resistant marine cloth. Both possible with aluminum and steel.
Sound enclosures for engines and generators. Soundproofing engine rooms is also a form of sound insulation.
Isolate of exhaust gas systems by means of insulation mattresses and/or finishing with aluminum or stainless steel sheet material.
Tracing and insulating deck pipes on board tankers.
Insulating materials in the form of a kit. These ready-made insulation packs are shipped to shipyards around the world and assembled by local workers.

Calculator (Boven Leeuwen en Tholen)
As a Cost Estimator at FCG, you play an important role within our sales and project organization. You ensure that projects are well prepared from the very beginning by assessing requests, identifying risks, and creating accurate calculations and quotations. With your attention to detail, you bring structure, clarity, and confidence to the preparation phase of various insulation projects within the utility, industrial, and maritime sectors. You work closely with purchasers, project managers, and work planners, ensuring that all information is carefully recorded in the ERP system. In addition, you actively contribute ideas, take initiative, and are confident in taking responsibility. A good command of the Dutch language is essential, while knowledge of English and German is considered a plus. At FCG, you will work in an environment where craftsmanship, teamwork, and quality are central to everything we do.

Mattress Installer (Tholen)
As an Insulation Mattress Installer (Field Service), you will work on a variety of projects within the shipbuilding and yacht-building industry. You will measure insulation mattresses on-site, create sketches, and install the custom-made products specially produced for your project. Starting your day in Tholen, you will travel independently or with a colleague to different locations. You will immediately see the results of your work and deliver quality that both you and the customer can be proud of. No experience is required; experienced colleagues will teach you the trade step by step, from measuring to installation. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently, likes a hands-on approach, and is motivated to learn a real craft.

Sheet Metal Mechanic (Alblasserdam)
For our work within the exclusive yacht-building industry, we are looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic. From our base in Alblasserdam, you will work on high-quality projects at shipyards across the Netherlands. Your main responsibility is the precise finishing of technical spaces on board luxury yachts by installing sheet metal on walls and ceilings. You will also work partly on air ducts and piping. Together with an enthusiastic team, you will deliver craftsmanship and quality on long-term projects where attention to detail is essential. Experience in sheet metal work or assembly is a plus, but motivation, technical insight, and accuracy are even more important to us.

Working Foreman (Alblasserdam)
For our location in Alblasserdam, we are looking for a working foreman within the exclusive yacht building industry. Together with a close-knit team, you will work on high-quality insulation and sheet metal solutions for luxury yachts. You lead and motivate colleagues, oversee quality, safety and planning, while actively working alongside the team. We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in insulation, sheet metal or a technical field, who takes responsibility and keeps projects running smoothly. A dynamic role where craftsmanship, teamwork and quality are key.
