Sheet Metal Mechanic (Alblasserdam)
For our work within the exclusive yacht-building industry, we are looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic. From our base in Alblasserdam, you will work on high-quality projects at shipyards across the Netherlands. Your main responsibility is the precise finishing of technical spaces on board luxury yachts by installing sheet metal on walls and ceilings. You will also work partly on air ducts and piping. Together with an enthusiastic team, you will deliver craftsmanship and quality on long-term projects where attention to detail is essential. Experience in sheet metal work or assembly is a plus, but motivation, technical insight, and accuracy are even more important to us.
Alblasserdam is the beating heart of our operations within exclusive yacht building. Here, technology meets pure craftsmanship, and you play an important role in that. Although our base is in Alblasserdam, as a fitter you will also visit other ship and yacht builders where we work, located throughout the Netherlands. In the role of Sheet Metal Fitter, you ensure that spaces are finished to a high standard. You primarily install sheet metal on walls and ceilings, ensuring that every technical room looks neat and high-quality. You also handle air ducts and piping, but that is only a small part of your work. With your eye for detail, you give engine rooms and technical spaces a professional appearance. You work together with an enthusiastic team of craftsmen, both at the shipyard, in the workshop, and in the office. The projects you work on often take a bit longer, giving you the real time to deliver quality, which is naturally where you find your enjoyment. You fit perfectly into this team if you: have experience with sheet metal or assembly (a plus, but not a must); work accurately and value quality; have technical insight and are eager to learn; You want to be proud of the end result you create. A good command of the Dutch language is essential, while knowledge of English and German is considered a plus. Mattress Installer (Tholen)
As an Insulation Mattress Installer (Field Service), you will work on a variety of projects within the shipbuilding and yacht-building industry. You will measure insulation mattresses on-site, create sketches, and install the custom-made products specially produced for your project. Starting your day in Tholen, you will travel independently or with a colleague to different locations. You will immediately see the results of your work and deliver quality that both you and the customer can be proud of. No experience is required; experienced colleagues will teach you the trade step by step, from measuring to installation. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently, likes a hands-on approach, and is motivated to learn a real craft.
