Conversion to hydrogen propulsion
At Holland Shipyards Group, we believe that the future of shipping must be sustainable. With over 40 years of experience in shipbuilding, we are committed to leading the transition to zero-emission vessels. Our hydrogen projects, the H2 Barge 1 and 2, are the first of their kind, proving that hydrogen-powered inland shipping is not only possible, but also commercially viable today.
Retrofit to hydrogen
Fully electric Deep suction dredgers
When standardization does not match the individual requirements, custom-built is the perfect solution to suit specific preferences and conditions. The "Vrouwezand" is a jointly designed fully electric deep suction dredger with a sustainable focus. Special consideration has also been given to user-friendliness.
Conversions
Holland Shipyards Group was contracted to convert the former General Cargo vessel "Mandeo" into the Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger "Schenge" . The scope concerned the designing and production of the complete dredging system and various other works on board. The carrying capacity of the dredger is 2.600 m3 in two holds, allowing transport of dual cargo.
