Back to where it all began.
After 25 years, the TSHD Biesbosch is back in the Netherlands, and we’re proud to give this trailing suction hopper dredger a second life together with Filia Dredging.
The vessel arrived just before Christmas at our yard in Werkendam, where we’re carrying out an extensive refit. Our main focus is the renewal of the hopper deck. We’re also replacing the coaming and various decks, repairing damage to aft ship, replacing the bow coupling, and performing repairs on the dredge piping system.
We’ll be working on the TSHD Biesbosch throughout the first quarter of 2026, reviving a vessel that still has a lot to give.
Great to collaborate with a thrusted partner from our own hometown. Let’s bring her back stronger dan ever!
