Rainwater Draining Pump System
The ‘Rainwater Draining Pump System’ is an innovation in roof drains. The solution focuses on eliminating the environmental and economic risks posed by conventional, internally installed roof drains. The concept combines the best of conventional and innovative manufacturing to create a solution that drains floating roofs through an external system. The solution contains a ‘one of a kind’ ATEX zone-0 pump controlled by multiple level sensors and powered by an electrically driven hydraulic power pack which is positioned in the safe zone. State of the art intelligence allows for remote monitoring and autonomous operation of the drain system. A complete, tailor-made turn-key installation ensures smooth and lasting operations. The system aims at unburdening and relieving the storage terminal of any manual operations to ensure safe and controlled rainwater draining. The motto for his new type of roof drain is: “Install and forget”. Long-term cost savings and the elimination of internal drains to reduce operational hazards form the motivation behind the development of the ‘Rainwater Draining Pump System’. Join us in booth A14 for a non-committal discussion. We would love to hear your feedback.

MarFlex Deepwell cargo pump
The MarFlex deepwell cargo pump is a vertical single-stage centrifugal pump powered by an electric motor and robustly constructed to efficiently empty any cargo tank. The size and design of the pumps depend on capacity (m3/hr) and head (mlc), s.g, and viscosity. In the ‘DOUBLE’ design of the MarFlex Deepwell Pump, the drive shaft is in a separate pipe next to the discharge pipe. The deepwell pump has four main sections; The electric motor (located on deck) Deck arrangement (including top cover and deck trunk) Pipe stack (located in the tank) Pump head (located in the tank)

Smart Pumping Solution
Smart Pumping is a system for simultaneous, automatic, energy-efficient unloading of multiple tanks on a ship carrying liquid cargo. This system can be integrated into new ships or retrofitted onto existing vessels equipped with MarFlex deepwell pumps. The system optimizes pump performance, resulting in significant energy savings (up to 40%) and reduced CO2 emissions (approximately 100,000 kg per year). In case time is of the essence, during fastest possible discharge the system always avoids cavitation, which benefits the lifetime of the pumps. Connection to “green” shore power is also feasible.

MarFlex Super Stripping Pump (MSSP)
The MarFlex Super Stripping Pump creates a partial vacuum within the super stripping line of this Deepwell Pump. The vacuum causes a difference of pressure with the cargo, so it is siphoned up through the stripping line, present at the bottom of the well. The Super Stripping Pump, typically located on the deck connected to cargo decks, can pump either to another tank or a manifold and can be used up to 26 meters. The MSSP is able to pump cargoes that range in temperatures from 4.4°C – 100 °C. Types of Cargo The Marflex deepwell cargo pump can handle different types of cargo, e.g., oil products (produce oils and industrial oils) and different kinds of chemicals. Materials used All our cargo pumps are standard-made in stainless steel A316L. However, due to the different kinds of cargoes that our pumps can handle, we can also supply other materials such as Duplex steel and Super Duplex steel. The MSSP can come equipped with a mechanical seal, which is able to withstand more pressure. The seal is easily replaced meaning that maintenance is simply achieved. Benefits of the Super Stripping Pump Can pump and be used with only 2 liters of cargo left in the well Cost-efficient so more affordable Easy to operate MarFlex Services MarFlex offers and provides a 24/7 365 days a year comprehensive service and support for our customers. We want to ensure you have the best experience with our products, so we offer help with onboard inspections, pump exchanges, dockings, and training requests.

MarFlex Ballast Deepwell Pump Concentric (MBDPC)
Ballast equipment is crucial for the operation of tankers. The MarFlex Ballast Deepwell Pump Concentric pump discharges water from the ballast water tanks to trim the vessel during loading or off-loading. The pumps, including E-motors, are ATEX (ATmosphères EXplosibles) certified. The deepwell pump has four main sections; The electric motor (located on deck) Deck arrangement (including top cover and deck trunk) Pipe stack (located in the tank) Pump head (located in the tank) Materials Used All ballast pumps are standard-made in stainless steel A316L. We can also supply other materials such as Duplex steel and Super Duplex steel. These materials make the pump cost-efficient while still offering high resistance to corrosive seawater. The benefits of the MarFlex Deepwell pump Total system efficiency is approximately 20% higher compared to a hydraulic-driven system, Low noise levels Easy and quick installation and commissioning thanks to the electrical drive Robust and straightforward AC motor Clean system (no potential leaking of oil on deck) Less maintenance The pump bearings will never run dry because of the oil-lubricated shaft The pump can run at relatively high speeds because of the oil-lubricated shaft and bearings No shaft alignment problems Fixed coupling between the shaft of the drive motor and the driveshaft Usage of MarFlex electrical drive (VSDS) gives the opportunity of gathering process information and reporting functionality Marflex Services MarFlex offers and provides a 24/7 365 days a year comprehensive service and support for our customers. We want to ensure you have the best experience with our products, so we offer help with onboard inspections, pump exchanges, dockings, and training requests.
