      Tresco RadarLink

Radar overlay systems have not always had a great reputation. Obsolete technology, complicated installation, and high purchasing costs meant there were more than enough reasons to avoid such systems in the past. However, thanks to today’s generation of radars combined with our RadarLink technology, this has changed entirely. Its installation is now much easier because the radar can be connected to the chart system with a standard network cable. Tresco RadarLink and the chart system can be operated together with a single mouse or trackball, so there is no need to keep switching to your own control console.

    3. Tresco TrackPilot

      Tresco TrackPilot

'Autonomous sailing': a much-discussed topic in shipping and ship navigation. Tresco is already bringing theory to prak􀆟jk. In early 2020, the first 'live' tests were successfully completed. Now in 2023, more than 370 users are already sailing with Tresco TrackPilot together with the Tresco Smart Tracks on European waterways. Both Tresco innovations are the first deliverable products that will enable toekoms􀆟ge autonomous sailing. More satisfied customers are added almost daily! The Tresco TrackPilot is also easy to integrate into your existing installation and is very simple to use. And developments are not standing still. We support more and more brands and types of autopilots. How does Tresco TrackPilot actually work? The pilot is controlled via a track in Navigis. You can enter a track yourself or indicate a ship via AIS, which automatically keeps track of that ship. This is sometimes referred to as the 'vesseltrain function'. But we go one step further with SmartTracks. You enter a final destination and our smart software calculates the ideal route. More recently, these SmartTracks also increasingly track water levels. However, TTP's developments continue. Despite the fact that TTP can be operated entirely via the mouse on the screen, our customers asked for an external control panel. Tresco is happy to meet these challenges and has developed the 'Tresco Touch' control panel for this purpose. This is a 7" touchscreen that offers the possibilities to easily plot parallel lines on the existing Tracks. Furthermore, the current speed or your sailing profile can be adjusted with a single finger stroke. And all this with a handy, compact panel with the well-known Tresco quality.

    5. Tresco: an all-inclusive package for inland navigation

Tresco: an all-inclusive package for inland navigation

Antwerp, 1994: Tresco launches Navigis River, a revolutionary GPS system that shows an inland vessel on a map. 29 years later, this has evolved into a total package that does much more than just show the position of the vessel ! Anno 2023, Tresco is a total concept. Where previously many instruments were connected separately, now everything comes together. With one glance at the screen, you see all the information you need while sailing. The basis is still Navigis River, but extended with RadarLink, AIS, Conning, anchor watch module, electronic reporting & Tresco TrackPilot. With the navigation hardware taking a central place on the vessel, Tresco has proactively had the TrackPilot PC and interface approved. As a result we already meet the most stringent ES-TRIN Article 10.20 requirements. A mandatory TrackPilot inspection does not yet exist, but Tresco is closely involved.
