Amer Shipping BV and Amer Schifffahrt KG are an International shipping and freight forwarding companies. Supported by a modern (own) fleet we annually transport 7,5 mio tons.
Our freight forwarding team consists of former skippers and trained logistics experts. Combined, they possess a wealth of nautical knowledge and multimodal transport solutions.
Freight forwarding:
Our daily work consists of connecting ships and cargo. This freight forwarding is done by being actively present on the market. We are in daily contact with our cargo and shipping partners. This proactive approach ensures that our customers (shipping agents and ship owners) pay and receive competitive market prices.
Expertise / transport project:
Together with the affiliated shipping agents, we analyse each project in terms of economic feasibility and modality. This also includes the question of whether the rate and the processing speed are in line with each other. For cooperation to be sustainable, all parties must feel good about the agreement. This is the only way to make the chain stronger and more efficient.
Constant feedback takes place during the transport. The aim is for both parties to have insight into the progress of the project and to be able to make adjustments if necessary.

Supply-chain management:
In addition to regular freight forwarding and transport projects, we also set up complete logistics chains. Our team also includes experienced supply-chain managers who have experience with developing efficient logistics solutions for various large industries based on their specific requirements, providing economically beneficial and CO2-reducing solutions. Our activities are not limited to Europe. Thanks to our international knowledge and network, the starting and finishing points can be on any continent in the world.
Together with you, our professionals analyse the current condition of the chain and advise on possible improvements, optimisations and savings. This can include pre- and post-transport by truck or ship, storage and transhipment and maritime transport. After receiving the final order, we set up the logistics chain both abroad and in the Netherlands.

The height, length and load capacity were developed specifically for the route and the maximum benefit was obtained for all stakeholders. These projects have been implemented with container, dry and wet cargo vessels.
