Mercy Ships Electrician
Keeping the lights on & keeping the ship ticking, we are very thankful for our Electricians, the first ones on the scene when the coffee machine stops working!
About this Role:
The Electricians perform electrical work as assigned by the Chief Electrician for the proper maintenance and repair of the on board electrical equipment. You and your team will be installing new equipment, as well as taking care of the maintenance and repair of existing equipment, including the fire safety panel, our most important system on board (joint first with the coffee machine)!
Mercy Ships Fourth Engineer
Keeping the lights on & keeping the ship ticking, we are very thankful for our Engineering department. A chance to make a real difference while getting your hands dirty!
The Fourth Engineer is responsible to act as Senior Watch keeping Officer or Duty Engineer as per schedule, as well as being involved in regular Engine Room maintenance.
Mercy Ships Second Officer
Though our hospital ships may stay in port for months, they need looking after. The Deck team maintains a healthy ship to enable our crew to bring hope and healing!
The Second Officer maintains the on board documents and equipment necessary for the ship to safely conduct an ocean voyage, and reports to the Chief Officer as a leader in the Deck department.
Mercy Ships brings hope and healing to the forgotten poor by mobilizing people and resources worldwide, and serving all people without regard for race, gender, or religion.
