Severnav Shipyard, privately owned trading company, has been a strong household name in shipbuilding since its establishment in 1852 by Austrian Shipping Company.
The main factory and Company Headquarter, located in Drobeta Turnu-Severin, Romania on the left bank of the Danube, km.934, has been organized for newbuilding of various types of river going and sea going vessels.
Launching capabilities: up to 8.000 dwt vessels, 140 m length and 30 m width. Net weights up to 4000 t.
Two outfitting piers of 201 m length and 246 m length are available for turn-key vessels.
The second factory, located 4 km downstream, is specialized in ship repairs, retrofitting and ship conversions up to 1300 t net weight and 120 m length with an outfitting quay 136m in length.
