These vinyl ester systems have now replaced polyester due to their ability to handle the most aggressive chemicals at elevated temperatures. The Chem-tect™ 300 Series consists of six unique products. These vinyl ester glass flake systems provide long-term corrosion protection across the full pH range (1 - 14). They are particularly effective in acidic, high-temperature environments where conventional epoxies cannot function. PRODUCT INFORMATION: As a highly wear-resistant coating in ship holds with excellent mechanical properties. Can be applied to a suitable rust-resistant substrate or directly to bare steel. Easy to use. Good corrosion protection and wear resistance. COT "food approval" according to EU Directives 2002/72/EC, 1935/2004, and 2005/79/EC. Excellent adhesion. Lead- and aromatics-free. PRODUCT INFORMATION Rough one-component deck paint based on alkyd resin and polypropylene powder. Wear- and slip-resistant, helps prevent slipping on decks. KEY PROPERTIES: Easy to apply. Weather-resistant and wear-resistant. Anti-slip effect. Excellent adhesion. PRODUCT INFORMATION: Binder: Modified alkyd resin. Density: Approx. 1.08 - 1.33 kg/l (depending on colour). Volume solids: Approx. 45-60 % (depending on colour). Theoretical coverage: 8 - 10 m²/litre at 60 µm wet film thickness. Gloss level: Semi-gloss. Shelf life: Approx. 12 months in unopened packaging, store in a cool, dry place. APPLICATION DATA: Application: Brush, roller, airless, and air spray. Nozzle: Airless / airmix 0.015” air spray min. 1.5 mm brush / roller n/a Dilution: Thinner, brush / roller 0-5%, spray application 10-15%. Drying at 20°C: Dust dry after approx. 1 hour. Tack-free after approx. 4 hours. Can be overcoated after 24 hours, depending on the relative humidity. Allow the final coat to dry / harden for at least 72 hours before placing any loads. Recommended dry film thickness: 60 μm. Application conditions: Do not apply in direct sunlight. For the best distribution of the anti-slip granules, apply with a short-haired roller, e.g. velours. Stir well before and during use to continue distributing the anti-slip granules. DELIVERY: Packaging: 5 liters, 20 liters and 200 liters. Color: Basic White/P, TR and (RAL) colors on the KMS. SYSTEMS: Pretreatment Remove all loose old paint layers and sand the surface to a smooth finish. Where the steel shows signs of rust, it must be mechanically removed, cleaned, and degreased, after which a suitable CK Primer must be applied immediately to prevent flash rust. Before applying the new paint system, the surface must have good adhesion properties and be dry, clean, neutral, and free of residue, dust, dirt, grease, rust, mold, and algae.

Tercoo Multi 8 pack For the real work! If you want to treat larger surfaces, this is what you need Tercoo is a rotating disc that can remove rust, paint, tar, epoxy, filler, adhesive residue and the like from various materials such as steel, iron, concrete or stone. Tercoo is a natural rubber disc equipped with 12 carbide pins. The pins are at a certain angle in relation to the center, causing them to move outwards due to the centrifugal force. Because the natural rubber disc is flexible, the natural rubber will retract the carbide pins, creating an orbital movement of these carbide pins. This movement causes the carbide pins to hammer on the surface to be cleaned. The hammering action doesn't generate heat, making it easy to remove even tough materials like tar, glue, and sealant. Using Tercoo discs: This Tercoo Multi 8 should be used in conjunction with the Tercoo Multi tool.
