SEAFAR Control System & Service
Seafar offers the technology and service to operate crew-reduced and semi-autonomous vessels from a Shore Control Center, while meeting the regulatory requirements for a "human in the loop". Vessels equipped with the SEAFAR control system allow owners to operate with reduced crew while licensed captains in the Shore Control Center take manual control if needed or monitor the semi-autonomous navigation from a distance. SEAFAR thereby empowers ship owners to compliantly reap the benefits of fully autonomous vessels already today! As a result, significant OPEX are achieved with retrofitted vessels and further CAPEX savings potential can be exploited with newbuildings.

Newbuildings offer owners the opportunity to effortlessly integrate the basic technical requirements of the SEAFAR Control System during design and building stage. Thus a later conversion to the full SEAFAR Control System & Service will save time and cost.
