Tasks and duties;
– Administrative support and assistance to the Technical Director.
– Close cooperation with technical managers and company engineers for planning and logistical purposes.
– Administration and distribution of certificates and other mandatory ship-related documents.
– Cooperation with the purchasing department regarding orders and deliveries.
– Monitoring and implementing financial procedures, in cooperation with the finance department.
– Assist in monitoring and scheduling service requests and product orders.
– Administration of incidents and accidents for insurance purposes.
– Liaison / communication between nautical and technical department in case of high / low water, emergencies, incidents, accidents or other problems.
Your profile
– Preferably you have professional experience in ship management or a related industry as technical assistant, management assistant or a similar role.
– You enjoy working independently, are well organised and a team player.
– You have good knowledge of written and spoken English and German. French would be nice.
– Expert knowledge of MS Office is essential and you are willing to work with other digital applications used in the company.
– You are a flexible self-starter, with a proactive attitude.
