As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the technical management of a number of vessels within the fleet, working within a team of experts. For the assigned vessels, you will be the primary point of contact for the onboard engineer. You will organize regular maintenance, inspections, audits, and winter work activities to ensure that our vessels are always technically up to date.

Your responsibilities will include:
Being the first-line technical contact for your assigned vessels, ensuring that they are always in proper technical condition and comply with applicable regulations and internal and external guidelines.
Developing maintenance plans and winter work lists, including onboard inventory, as well as monitoring and handling service tickets and inquiries.
Planning and coordinating the work of internal staff, subcontractors, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
Monitoring, managing, and documenting actions and tasks performed for each vessel.
In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, it is important that you are well-organized and structured in your work, as you will be overseeing multiple vessels. You will need to strike the right balance between scope, planning, budgeting, materials, lead times, and risks for all vessels.

Requirements:
Vocational education (MBO) level of work and thinking.
Proficiency in English and German languages.
Familiarity with automated systems.
Knowledge of Word and Excel.
Previous work experience in the technical sector, preferably in maritime engineering or inland navigation.
Results-oriented and driven personality. You are open, spontaneous, and possess strong communication skills at all levels.
Ability to work independently and accurately, even under time pressure, always keeping the end customer (the tour operator/shipowner) in mind.
Assertive and solution-oriented attitude, capable of seamlessly transitioning between office, staff, customers, and other stakeholders, with your technical expertise being crucial.
