Genco Scheepvaart fourth pillar under PTC Groep

On Wednesday, February 7, Arie van Gent, owner-director of Genco Scheepvaart, and the board of the Particuliere Transport Coöperatie b.a., signed a takeover agreement in Rotterdam.
With this acquisition, the PTC Group is building a fourth pillar under the cooperative with Genco, in addition to the PTC, HVC and Den Breejen Bevrachtingen, to strengthen its position in the market. Both parties complement each other in the sailing areas, because while PTC is strong in North-South and Domestic transport, Genco mainly serves the German market.
