OMEC Motors NV is part of the electric motor division of Peja in Arnhem. In the 1990s Peja starts a joint venture with a large Chinese electric motor manufacturer for the import and sale of electric motors in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Until 2008 this company (Dutchi Motors) becomes very active and successful in the global electric motor industry and sells in over 60 countries through sales offices or affiliate distributors. In 2008 this company is sold and in 2012 Peja decides to re-enter the electric motor business by investing in a new factory and sales organization in Arnhem. Omec Motors was founded.
Today OMEC sells electric motors in all IE classes (from IE1 until IE5), low, medium and high voltage motors, IP23 motors, brake motors, single phase motors, EXD(E) motors and…. permanent magnetic motors.
