Batia Mosa

Batia Mosa – or ‘Meusesship’ in the local dialect – arose from the desire to breathe new life into a traditional industrial activity along the Meuse, while at the same time capturing the numerous of challenges and opportunities of greening in the inland navigation sector. The proximity of Europe’s third largest inland port (Liège) and a direct connection to the world-class seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam provide an ideal setting. In December 2022 the Batia Mosa Shipyard Monsin near Liège reopened the slipway and in April 2023 it was time for the Batia Mosa Shipyard Andenne to lift again ships out of the water.
