Diesel mechanic or future Diesel mechanic
Working as a diesel mechanic at a diesel engine company in the shipping industry. A challenging and varied function. Our company specializes in the engine brands Cummins and MAN. For a prospective mechanic, you will initially work with one of our mechanics, who will familiarize you with the specialties and systems of the various types of engines. If you have been trained after some time and can show that you can work independently, you will be deployed to independently carry out work on location. For the position of experienced mechanic you will be sent out with a fully equipped service car to a location in the Netherlands or abroad to carry out the malfunction, repair or revision there.
Service Engineer MAN motoren
As a service engineer at De Groot Marine Services, you are involved in the maintenance of MAN high speed engines. Your work will consist of preventive and corrective maintenance, overhauling and detecting faults on MAN engines.
