Today you are dry-docking a ship. Tomorrow you help change propellers or remove a propeller shaft. And next week you are working on a major maintenance project. What will you be doing?
As a dockworker, you are indispensable at our shipyard and in our docks.
You:
• assist with dry-docking ships in the dry dock
• support maintenance, repair, and docking activities
• change propellers and assist with the installation and removal of propeller shafts and rudders
• perform general assistance with technical work on docked ships
• carry out daily maintenance work at the shipyard and in the docks
• collaborate with mechanics, welders, construction workers, and project management
• ensure that work continues safely, neatly, and efficiently
This is you You:
• like getting things done and enjoy working outdoors
• do not have a 9-to-5 mentality • work independently and see what needs to be done
• are flexible and think in solutions
• maintain an overview, even when multiple tasks are running simultaneously
• are physically fit and like to roll up their sleeves
• can organize your own work well
In addition, you have:
• experience with metalworking, shipbuilding, or heavy engineering
• experience with dock work or the motivation to learn the trade
• a practical technical background or extensive practical experience Pluses:
• a tower crane operator's license
• experience as a tower crane operator
• experience operating tugboats and the associated certifications

We zijn op zoek naar een service monteur / inbedrijfsteller die technisch sterk is, zelfstandig werkt én rustig blijft als anderen beginnen te stressen. Iemand die storingen niet als probleem ziet, maar als uitdaging. Die doorvraagt, vooruitdenkt en net zo makkelijk op de werf staat als onderweg naar een klant. Want hier werk je niet op één vaste plek. Vandaag voer je onderhoud uit aan een boegschroefinstallatie. Morgen los je een storing op in een hydraulisch besturingssysteem. En volgende week stel je een compleet nieuwe installatie in bedrijf. Van eerste opstart tot service onderweg: wij regelen het. Dat doen we al bijna 60 jaar.
