The Schoonschip aluminum polishing set is designed to restore and polish dull aluminum objects such as aluminum gangways, aluminum cover plates, aluminum hatches, aluminum masts, etc.

Thanks to its special formulation, it easily removes cement, rust, lime, grinding residue, rust stains, slag, and boiler scale from all acid-resistant surfaces and types of stone.

Wanneer een schroefas te veel aan ruimte krijgt kunnen diverse nadelige gevolgen resulteren in schudden, trillingen of lekkage in machinekamer of zelfs buitenboord. De oplossing is het reviseren van de lagerbussen. In onze draaierij kunnen we deze werkzaamheden in eigen beheer uitvoeren. Tijdens deze werkzaamheden wordt zorg besteed aan het afdichtingssysteem van de schroefas om aan milieueisen te voldoen.

Wij hebben een stevendok voor binnenvaartschepen van maximaal 110 x 11,40 m. Na het droogzetten wordt de schroef gedemonteerd en komt beschikbaar voor reparatie. Versteeg is onafhankelijk en kan desgewenst adviseren waar de schroef het beste gerepareerd kan worden. Tijdens het droogstaan in het dok kan er onderwaterwerk worden verricht. Te denken valt o.a. aan ijzerwerk aan achterschip of roeren, vervangen van de anodes, oplassen van tunnelband of het vervangen daarvan. Voor conserveringswerkzaamheden gelden specifieke werkvoorbereidingen.
