    1. argoTrackPilot

      argoTrackPilot

argoTrackPilot is the world’s first automatic track-keeping system for inland vessels along predefined guiding lines. argoTrackPilot embodies the next logical step toward an autonomous vessel beyond autopilots (ROT controllers). argoTrackPilot ensures that the vessel remains on the guiding line during all weather and light conditions. The skipper is alleviated from tiring routine work during navigation. The skipper takes action only when necessary by choosing an appropriate offset to the guiding line.

    3. AUS40

      AUS40

AUS40 for marine ISO18611 applications is a blend of demineralised water and urea (urea content 40%). It acts as a reduction agent for SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology for NOx emission control. AUS40 has a higher concentration of urea and is more efficient for larger vessels, while AdBlue® is more delicate and therefore more suitable for small engines. Strong efforts have been made on the development of technology that can reduce such emissions effectively. SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology, using urea solutions as the reduction agents, is considered to be a key technology for abating NOx emissions in the marine sector. New and stricter emissions legislation will be implemented in the marine sector. Shallow and deep sea vessels, as well as inland vessels, will be equipped with SCR technology. In so-called ECAs (Emission Control Areas), the emissions legislation is already in place and will be further enforced to wider areas.

    4. Automatic Life Jacket Lights

      Automatic Life Jacket Lights

Our Life Jacket Lights are designed to enhance personal safety by ensuring maximum visibility in emergency situations at sea. Automatically activated upon contact with water, these lights help rescuers quickly locate individuals in low-light or night-time conditions. Compact and lightweight, they are designed to be easily attached to life jackets without restricting movement or comfort. Despite their small size, they deliver a powerful and reliable light output when it matters most. Manufactured to meet strict marine safety standards, our life jacket lights are waterproof, durable, and built to perform in harsh marine environments. Selected models are SOLAS-approved, making them suitable for professional maritime use and full compliance with international safety regulations. Small device. Critical visibility. Maximum safety.

    6. Autonomous ISPS access system.

      Autonomous ISPS access system.

For over 15 years, Nobel’s quay has been ISPS-certified. However, strict safety regulations often result in administrative burdens, delays, and high costs. Nobel therefore asked itself: how can we make ISPS simpler and faster, without compromising on safety, accessibility, or hospitality? Where others saw ISPS as a burden, Nobel saw an opportunity. The answer came through a partnership with Ship2Port (Royal Dirkzwager). Together, we developed Europe’s first autonomous ISPS access system. Through an app, visitors, suppliers, and crew can easily request access to one of the three ISPS quays. Once approved, they receive a digital boarding pass with a QR code. An additional Face ID check of just 3 seconds securely links access to the verified ID. No more paper forms, phone calls, or manual registrations – everything runs via one clear app. The quays are individually secured and close automatically as soon as an ISPS vessel approaches, while Nobel’s shop, warehouse, and office remain freely accessible. This way, safety is combined with hospitality. The system also provides real-time insight into vessel arrivals and presence, ensuring smoother planning and minimizing overlap with inland shipping. With this premiere, Nobel transforms a costly obligation into an innovative, user-friendly, and safe process. A practical solution that embodies Nobel’s vision: safety, simplicity, and innovation – the best course towards the future.

    7. Azimuth Thruster for Commercial Vessels

      Azimuth Thruster for Commercial Vessels

Current Motion thrusters are designed to be able to use a rather big propeller diameter to have a maximum efficiency when the vessel speed is low. Due to the electric drive and the selection of the gear ratio’s, Current Motion offer the possibility to use the thruster at maximum load also with a smaller propeller, since the drive line is designed in a way that the thruster can be used within the propellers most efficient range, with a smaller or bigger diameter. To have a low sound level Current Motion will use a pulling propeller (tractor) to be able to have a optimum wake field in front of the propeller. This means the propeller can be designed for maximum efficiency without being forced to modify the blade design to deal with a bad wakefield in front of the propeller.
