Ballast water management
Reikon is the exclusive distributor of Headway Oceanguard in the Netherlands, specializing in a ballast water treatment system that utilizes electrocatalysis, also known as AEOP (Advanced Electrocatalysis Oxidation Process). Why is ballast water management important? Ballast water management is important because it prevents the spread of invasive organisms and pathogens through ballast water. Ballast water is used to provide stability to ships during loading and unloading of cargo. When ballast water is transferred from one area to another, harmful organisms and microorganisms can be released, posing a threat to the local ecosystem and public health. By implementing a ballast water management system, this risk is minimized, ensuring the preservation of biodiversity and the sustainability of waterways.

Ballastjets
The ballast jet allows us to expand your sailing area and minimise lost time. The ballast jet is a simple and effective system that enables the intake and discharge of ballast water. We can expand your sailing area and minimise lost time, without any great effort on your part. Kalkman has developed a simple and effective system that makes it possible to take in and discharge ballast water. The Kalkman Ballastjet is characterised by its ability to generate large water volumes at a relatively low capacity, its low in-build space and the absence of pipes. Full performance can also be realised when the ship is sailing. This reduces the time needed to travel routes with limited vertical clearance. Due to the low assembly of the ballast jet, it can be comfortably emptied. To do this without misfiring, the electro motor is regulated using a frequency regulator. The revolutions of the motor can be continuously regulated using a remote control. Closing valves can be fitted on the outside as well as the open side. A closing valve is required. Further, manual or electrically operated closing valves can be selected. - Fast intake and discharge of ballast water - High water yield at low capacity (1200 m3/h at 11 kw) - Full yield when ship is sailing - No pipes necessary - Easy access to propeller - Energy-efficient - Electrically driven - Touchscreen, manual and remote control operation - Can be supplied with E-box featuring all necessary components - Stainless steel 316 pump casing - Larger capacities upon request

BeHydro Dual Fuel Engines
The BeHydro dual-fuel engines are developed for heavy-duty applications and are very flexible in usage. Operating on 85% hydrogen gas and 15% conventional fuel, they make the owner or user less dependent on fossil fuels. With this type of engine, CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 85%! In combination with an after-treatment system (EATS), they are compliant to EU Stage V emission regulations. Taking into account that these medium-speed engines can run on up to 85% hydrogen AND 100% conventional fuel, they offer a solution when hydrogen is not available. Switching to conventional fuel is automatic and effortless. This ensures easy operation of the propulsion system and a maximized uptime of the vessel. With the BeHydro dual-fuel engines, we offer a state-of-the-art, user-friendly solution for companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint to an absolute minimum. These sustainable engines are ready-to-use, widely deployable and allow our customers to respond to the energy transition today. The engines have a long life thanks to an optimised air/gas mixture that causes components to heat up less quickly. They also have no problems with slight impurities in the hydrogen and do not use scarce raw materials such as lithium, zinc, cobalt, platinum, rare earths, etc. The BeHydro dual-fuel hydrogen engines use proven technology, have been extensively tested and they are certified. They are designed to ensure long-term and efficient operation. These engines are available with 6 or 8 cylinders in line and 12 or 16 cylinders in V and deliver power from 1,000 up to 2,670 kW. BeHydro The Hydrogen Future Is Now

Betabridge - Van der Leun Electrical Marine Systems
The manufacture of wheelhouse desks has been one of our specialities for many years. Take every detail into account, we link functionality to key aesthetic and ergonomic requirements. The result is the Bètabridge. Conspicuous features are rounded shapes, divisibility of the upper and lower sections, ease of operation and good sightlines. Because every ship is unique, we make desks entirely to measure. No size is impossible for us. Of course, you can also choose the colour you like. Because the bridge is the central spot of ships, it deserves extra attention and comforts, such as integration and accessibility of all necessary components from different suppliers. These have to be assembled and applied in various ways. As regular servicing is also important, depth-adjustable back plates make it possible to do this as efficiently and effectively as possible. In addition to supplying your desk, we can also make sure the desk integrates smoothly with all your ship's systems. Want to know more? Feel free to contact us!

Blasting & Painting – C5M coating
Blasting and painting in any desired color & coating, standard C3 and C5M anti-corrosion coatings available! The blasting and coating of electric motors is an essential step in extending their lifespan and ensuring reliable performance, especially in demanding maritime and industrial environments. By carefully blasting the surface first, dirt, rust, and old paint layers are removed, allowing for optimal adhesion of new coatings. Special top coatings are then applied to protect the motor against factors such as moisture, chemicals, corrosion, and extreme temperatures. These high-quality coatings not only provide enhanced protection but also ensure a professional finish and longer maintenance intervals for the electric motor.

The brushes do not absorb water and detergents, so they do not form a breeding ground for bacteria.

BOSS™ ECO
Damen Marine Components developed the BOSS™ECO to provide insight into excessive rudder movements using the sensors of a vessel. A touchscreen display with integrated software continuously calculates and shows the steering behaviour in relation to the steering movements and rudder angles, aligned to the actual sailing situation. The BOSS™ECO system measures and shows the following: rudder angles, CO2 emission, fuel consumption per litre or kilometre, speed, rate of turn (ROT) and steering efficiency indicator (SEI). By giving insight into these measurements, it allows the captain to be more conscious of his or her sailing behaviour, which can lead to considerable fuel savings. Preliminary practice results show fuel savings of approximately 12%. In addition, the BOSS™ECO system saves the data in a trip registration sheet. The data, which is collected per voyage, will be saved in an overview where you can directly compare your steering behaviour and efficiency. It is possible to send the data overview via e-mail, to save it or to print it. Manoeuvring is necessary on inland waterways. Every rudder movement creates extra ship resistance and by preventing excessive steering corrections you can improve your transport performance (EOI). It is proven that, once the BOSS™ECO is used according to its functions, fuel savings up to 20% can be achieved. The BOSS™ECO system is suitable for all types of vessel, both new built and retrofit, and is available in the languages English, Dutch and German. If not already present, DMC additionally supplies an accurate fuel sensor. ESPECIALLY SUITED FOR Vessels with hydraulic rudder- and steering systems KEY FEATURES Considerable fuel savings Reduced wear of rudder and steering equipment Minimal maintenance Improved transport performance (EOI) Up to 70% less steering movements Ready for IOT- cloud
