    2. Stage V after treatment

      Stage V after treatment

In 2019 Koedood Dieselservice took the first steps towards obtaining the EU Stage V certificate. Under StageV, all engines must be equipped with an after-treatment system. This brought the opportunity to readjust the engines and provide a fuel and AdBlue economical solution. After a successful ISO9001:2005 certification, the technical part has started at full speed. Koedood, together with partners: Mitsubishi, Emigreen, TNO and RDW, has built a top product that will be the drive for European inland shipping in the coming years. From now on, Koedood is no longer a dealer, but a manufacturer of this EU Stage V solution.

    3. Stage V Medium Speed Engine

      Stage V Medium Speed Engine

Stage V for Medium Speed Engines: Innovation and Sustainability Go Hand in Hand Stage V for medium speed engines demonstrates how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, and how an existing engine can be prepared for a sustainable future — in a cost-effective way, without compromising on environmental goals or the long-term business case. Until recently, it seemed impossible to equip a medium speed engine with an emission aftertreatment system that was compact enough to fit into the existing engine room — and most importantly, would not cause excessive backpressure. Medium speed engines are highly sensitive to backpressure; too much of it can damage the engine. Replacing a well-functioning medium speed engine with a new one? That’s not sustainable — and we have the solution. For the first time, our in-house engineers have successfully equipped a medium speed engine with an emission aftertreatment system that fully meets the current Stage V standard. A system that: Is compact: it replaces the existing silencer. Is scalable: suitable for most medium speed engines. Is affordable: no new engine needed, while maintaining the current engine room footprint. Is truly sustainable: keeps a good engine in use while reducing harmful emissions. Is clean: emits very few soot particles, NOx values are well below the Stage V standard, and the backpressure is even lower than with the original silencer. Every aftertreatment system we install — in collaboration with the customer’s shipyard — undergoes an official E3 test under real-world operating conditions by an independent certification company. This proves that every engine equipped with our system complies with the current Stage V standard.

    4. Stainless steel compensator with welded ends

Stainless steel compensator with welded ends

Stainless steel compensator with welded ends - available from DN 32 to DN 500 Stainless steel compensators, also called stainless steel expansion pieces, are used for installations that are subject to movements. These movements can vary from very slow (thermal expansion or contraction) to very fast (vibration). Thermal expansions can cause unfavorable material stresses in pipes. Installing compensators prevents this unwanted material tension. Vibrations also cause tension and cause disturbing noises in the working and living environment. Installing compensators prevents this.

    5. STAUFF Form Tube Forming System

      STAUFF Form Tube Forming System

In technical terms, the DIN couplings in combination with the Stauff-Form system are the most reliable and safe solution. This connection does not consist of loose components that can come loose from the tube, the Form system creates a raised edge from the material of the tube which fully secures the standard nut. The Stauff ring also comes standard with a Viton seal for both an elastic and steel-to-steel connection. The elastic seal is completely enclosed in the 24 ° cone, the steel part of the ring is sealed on the flat side of the coupling. (See image for clarification) In addition, the machine is suitable for both steel and stainless steel connections. More information about this system and the machine can be found in the attachments and the video in the link. In addition, you can always contact us via 088-4040500 or info@jb-hydraulics.nl

    6. STAUFF Tube, Pipe and Hose Clamps

STAUFF Tube, Pipe and Hose Clamps

or more than 50 years, STAUFF Clamps symbolise quick and easy as well as secure installation of pipes, tubes, hoses, cables and other flexible and rigid components with outside diameters up to 1016 mm / 40.00 inch. Their vibration and noise reducing features are appreciated as being an important contribution to environmental protection and occupational health and safety. The processing of fire-proof clamp body materials, tested and approved according to several international fire-protection standards (such as BS 6853, EN 45545-2, UL 94) is only one of the many particular strengths of STAUFF. STAUFF guarantees prompt service, even for customised solutions according to customer’s specifications or based on our in-house development. For selected types and series, independent certificates and approvals can be provided: • American Bureau of Shipping • Bureau Veritas • Department of the Navy, New York • Germanischer Lloyd • Lloyd’s Register of Shipping • Registro Italiano Navale • Russian Maritime Register of Shipping • Technischer Überwachungsverein • United States Coast Guard For the finishing of the range of pipe, tube, hose and cable clamps as well as metal hardware in carbon steel, STAUFF relies on the STAUFF Zinc/Nickel surface coating which has proven successful for many years. It provides reliable surface protection – even after transport, handling and assembly – and meets all current legal requirements. Versions in stainless steel V4A are generally available from stock. Alternative materials and surfaces are available on request.

    7. Steering grid

      Steering grid

The Steering Grid can be used for main, as well as auxiliary, propulsion systems. Steering Grids are driven electrically, hydraulically, or by means of a diesel engine. Installed in a flat and horizontal part of the hull bottom, steering grids can improve the vessel’s manoeuvrability and alternatively act as emergency (main) propulsion unit (‘take-home device’). Especially for inland waterway vessels with an extremely shallow draught, combined with limited mounting space on board, and particularly suitable for retrofitting of existing vessels, Verhaar Omega’s Steering Grids are recommended as an even more compact alternative to the Channel Thruster. Verhaar Omega’s Steering Grid features an integrated horizontal propeller/impeller, which pumps water from under the vessel, inward, through a channel to one side (forward or aft) of the unit. Once inside the propeller channel, the water flow is deflected to the other side through a 180° elbow section, into an outlet channel. The outlet channel has a downward facing grid, which is 360° rotatable clockwise or counter-clockwise. As the grid comes with slats, which are laterally at an angle, the thrust can be directed accurately to the desired side. Thrust force is dependent on the rotational speed of the driveshaft, and the steering grid is available in a range from 50kW up to 662kW. The Verhaar Omega steering grid accommodates two separate drive units: one for the propeller and another for the rotating grid.

      Stralen; effectieve reinigingstechniek

Blasting is the way to create an ideal surface for the durable bonding of a coating or a complex coating system. By professionally blasting surfaces, dirt, such as old paint residue and rust, is removed under very high pressure. The surface is cleaned down to the deepest pores by blasting and roughened to the desired level. The method of blasting and the blasting media used depend on the material to be cleaned and the cleanliness profile determined on the basis of ISO standards. Cornet Service blasts as much as possible with recyclable abrasives such as steel and corundum. Cornet Service carries out all cleaning activities on location that are necessary to guarantee a basis for durable bonding. With expert knowledge, we treat every surface, ferrous and non-ferrous, so that coatings and lacquers adhere permanently. Assure yourself of a guaranteed good adhesion of a coating, paint or varnish.
