Easyflow stirring system
De Waal's Easyflow® is the most sustainable and green stirring system available. Already in the fall of 2013, De Waal was the first to market with this novelty. You can achieve no less than 5 to 15 percent fuel savings through a simple conversion to our Easyflow® stirring system. With consistent maneuvering behavior and a quieter home, or time savings if you keep the throttle full. Sometimes soon 1.5 hours on certain stretches. That is only profit. The Stuwa® Easyflow rudders are slimmer than all other rudder types and are positioned further outwards. The rudders are in the zero position just outside the fast flowing screw water. This water flows much faster along the inside of the rudder than on the outside. This creates a considerable overpressure on the inside, and underpressure on the outside. The patented Easyflow airfoil converts this pressure difference into extra thrust. And because the rear of the rudder blade has almost no curved spout, the thrust formed is not disturbed. Optimal ship dynamics!
